Surly Straggler Cyclocross/Touring/Commuter bike! Glitter Dreams! in Woking, Surrey for sale
Hey! I am selling my Surly Straggler in brand new condition because I bought it to go ride through the alps for a while and am now heading back to America. It's a beautifully versatile bike and I upgraded a few aspects to make it even better. The thing about this bike is you can adjust it to do whatever you want :) Fat mountain bike tires fit. All sorts of braze on rack mounts for touring. Strip it bare and rip around in a cyclocross race. Or make use of the horizontal dropout and make it a singlespeed to go rip around the city. Can't say I don't like it. Just getting rid of it if the right person comes along because I already have a large bicycle collection in the US. Size: 54 cm - fits me well at 178cm but can fit bigger and smaller people Chromo 4130 Steel frame - feels amazing and stable no matter where you ride. Some touring miles offroad were no problem 700c wheels with two sets of tires: The Stock Surly Knard knobby tires and the Schwalbe Marathons 28mm pictured. Avid Disc brakes worked well on the downhills in the alps :) Tubus Cargo Rear Rack with Ortlieb Black standard Panniers Shimano Components mean this thing will ride great forever. My SPD pedals will not be included though I also just rode the London Pride on it today with no problems! :) Asking 1400 Pounds because this thing is brand new and I have more than that in it.
